Growing up in a working-class family, Loel Heupel learned the value of a strong work ethic from his parents. From an early age, he was fascinated with money and how people were able to accumulate it. During his formative years, he developed an understanding that financial success is driven by individual vision and discipline.
After graduating with a degree in Finance from the University of the Pacific, Loel initially embarked on a career in banking, one which provided a great deal of financial knowledge. Almost a decade later, he fulfilled his personal dream by becoming a financial planner. In 2008, he founded his own independent practice, Mosaic Wealth Solutions, with the intention to better serve a small group of clients in the areas of financial planning (through LPL Financial), wealth management, and employee benefit planning.
The atmosphere Loel has created at Mosaic Wealth Solutions is very different from the typical structure of a corporate environment. In contrast, a flexible, customized approach is encouraged. Loel and his staff emphasize direct, straight-forward guidance that demonstrates compassion and integrity. From start to finish, he goes above and beyond for his clients, attempting to anticipate their financial needs, tackle everyday issues, and navigate the intricacies of the market and economic climate.
As a cancer survivor, Loel was given a new perspective on life, and ultimately strives for a good balance between professional and personal time. As an extension of his passion for golf, Loel is a Golf Digest magazine panelist, where he applies his strategic analysis and evaluation skills to rate elite golf courses across the United States. Loel and his wife Nicki are avid skiers, cyclists, and travelers. When not in Sacramento, they are often at their cabin in the mountain community of Truckee, near Lake Tahoe.
